Fery Pashang

I am a multidisciplinary Toronto-based artist and pharmacist who explores the challenges of medicine and morality through visual art. My health care profession, along with my many years of experience in photography, calligraphy, and graphic design, has enabled me to work at the intersection of visual art and medicine. I intend on generating new conversations around humanizing health and illness, addressing mundane reactions to medication consumption, and learning about the human body through various transitional stages between healthiness and maladies. Recently, I started learning from and collaborating with my father to explore the grace and beauty of wood and benefit from the attributes of its symbolic and natural language.
